No Half Time Party opens Revelry Season

Being known as a season opener for music concerts every year, the 2022 edition of No Half Time Party was yet again a success. Revellers from as far as Molepolole, Gaborone and other villages in the South east district thronged the Lobatse Plantation on Saturday to party no-nstop.

The event which started as gathering of few friends every January gained momentum over the years and inevitably became a commercial activity. During the time, in 2010, Juice Polelo, the organiser of No Half Time Party, gathered a few friends at his home for a weekend chill session, unaware that he was brewing something bigger than he would have imagined.

While January is not a preferable time to host events for music promoters, No Half Time Party organisers go ahead with the January date annually and this year it was also a victory for everyone.
