Nigerian pop singer Toby ‘Naijaboy’ Okike and former My Star contestant Amantle of the popular Moratiwa number have collaborated on a romantic ballad that is set to remind many of old-time romance stories.

In the past, proposing to a woman was done face-to-face, but modern technology has stolen the oomph from the first meetings as it makes it easier for people to meet and propose digitally. The track Mukele, sang in Yoruba and English, was officially released on social networks last week. It has a trademark Nigerian flow and sound. The track was produced by European-based S’Bling at a local studio, Beatslayer Records.

Naijaboy described his new single as a story of a man formally proposing and declaring his undying love for a woman.
