Motswafere ditches his feminine look

Former My Star finalist Motswafere has decided to ditch his feminine look, which once earned him the name Diva. Born Motswakgakala Sithole, the energetic musician used to pull some Beyoncé Knowles moves.

“It is demeaning to be called a diva, but at that time it was appropriate because of the dance moves and attitude I had. Extreme feminism does not appeal to me any more that part of my life is slowly hitting the breaks,” said the musician who now prefers to be called Mr Motswafere.

The musician sparked controversy on social networks last year when a picture of him in braids and female make up trended online. Motswafere said he decided to find his inner self, his voice as a musician and time to talk to God.
