Molosi reflects on Dithunya Tsa Rona win

The star of a Botswana-produced film called Dithunya Tsa Rona, which recently won the Best International Feature Award at the Baltimore international Black Film Festival in the United States, Donald Molosi, has reflected on the win.

Dithunya Tsa Rona is a story by Jenny Ledikwe and Isaac Leano Marumo and follows a social worker investigating teen pregnancies in a rural African village. She stops at nothing, including fighting her inner-demons, to protect children from abuse.

The lead role is played by Merciah Bonolo Moletsane who delivers a powerful performance as a survivor of sexual assault. The most recognisable name in the cast is Molosi who plays Kago Kgomo.
