MKOP has revamped from the set of menu services and come up to be a more interactive outlet for its clients. The outlet is located at Riverwalk Mall. “We have revamped structurally the feel and the look has toned down to cater for the youth, middle and upper class clientele. Our menus have changed we have included breakfast on our menu, we have various traditional cuisine, platters to mention just a few,” said Bruce Nkgakile the new director of MKOP. He noted that as part of the revamping process during the day the spot trades as a restaurant and as a lounge during the night unlike in the olden days when it was just a restaurant like set up. The revamp can also be visibly seen by the new tempo that the spot has especially when it is trading as a lounge; it gets packed to the rafters as it occasionally hosts different themed events or have DJs such as Chrispin performing sets. “There is serious change of lifestyle in Gaborone, people want to look good, eat good and hang around in good places hence we decided to have such a platform for them. “The structure and location of MKOP makes it easier for our target market as it is the experience they enjoy, it is safer and provide the exact services they are in need of.” Apart from it being a middle upper class spot of entertainment Nkgakile noted that the environment of MKOP restaurant is now suitable for business and corporate meetings. MKOP will be officially launching this month on a date yet to be announced by the management.
