Miss Supranational searches for new queen

Despite the lingering controversy over issuing the grand prize (a car) for the reigning queen, Miss Supranational Botswana beauty pageant has started the search for its next queen.

This comes after the beauty pageantry this week opened entries for auditions.

The beauty pageant penetrated the local scene on a high note and received public praise for its massive promises, but later got backlash for allegedly failing to give the winner a brand new Haval Jolion car as a prize. In an interview with the pageantry spokesperson Kaone Moremong, she pointed out that the call for auditions has gone out adding that they would be hosting their auditions in Gaborone from January 27-28, 2024.
