Miss Curvy finals slated for Nov

FRANCISTOWN: All is set for the inaugural Miss Curvy finale to be staged at Boipuso Hall in Gaborone on November 6, 2014.

Under the floodlights, curvaceous women would strut what their mamas gave them on the ramp, as they showcase their well-built bodies.

Miss Curvy, organised by the Diamond Queen of Africa, aims to celebrate true African women.  It is a different kind of pageant altogether, as most of the pageants focus on slim pencil women in high heels and skimpy dresses.    The concept was born out of the zeal to promote plus-sized and give curvy women opportunities, a sense of self-confidence, as well as stature in the fashion industry.
