Miss Botswana 2015 beauty pageant will boost the local fashion industry by engaging a number of local fashion designers to dress this year’s Miss Botswana contestants.

Miss Botswana media director, Tshepo Maphanyane said young designers will be given an opportunity to showcase their designs during Miss Botswana pageant and fashion shows.

“Through engaging young fashion designers, we believe that Miss Botswana can assist in developing our textile industry as young designers will be given an opportunity to showcase their designs,” she said. Maphanayane said announcements on how designers can be part of Miss Botswana pageant are yet to be confirmed.
