After a two-year absence, the august Miss Botswana beauty pageant has returned with the organisers promising that it will be bigger and better.

This time around, the winner will walk away with a whopping P100, 000 cash, together with other prizes.  Miss Botswana was last held in 2013 when Rosemary Keofhitlhetse was crowned the queen. The Miss Botswana media director, Tshepo Maphanyane said this year the pageant has changed a number of elements. She assured that there would not be any challenges in terms of handing over the prize money to the winner as it happened in the past.

Miss Botswana licence holders, Botswana Council of Women (BCW), will take charge of the pageant.
