Maipelo steals the show at Play Fest

Marimba percussionist Maipelo Sabone stole the Play Fest show, out doing seasoned artists at the Play Fest event,. over the weekend

The 12-year-old brought Gaborone Club to a stand still when she backed her big brother, Yarona FM DJ Kgosi, ‘DJ Casper’ Sabone on his set. Maipelo calmly played along to the DJ’s set of different genres, which ranged from House music to RnB, without making any mistakes.

Revellers were mesmerised as they rushed to take picture and videos of the young girl who was on her maiden live show performance.
