The Madikwe Cultural Festival is back for its fifth edition, and promises to be bigger and better than ever. With the theme "Go Fepa Mogopolo le Mmele" (Feed Your Mind and Body), the festival aims to promote healthy living and celebrate Batswana culture.

The event's Marketing, Public Relations & Media Coordinator, Henny Maruapula, said the festival will feature a range of activities, including cultural performances, poetry, DJs, traditional games, and a best-dressed attire competition. There will also be plenty of activities for kids, such as swimming, jumping castles, and traditional games like mmele and diketo.

"We are bringing people from diverse backgrounds to converge at one event," Maruapula said. "Our MC is from Molepolole, we have artists and DJs from Francistown, Gaborone, and other parts of the country, all coming together to celebrate culture in Kgatleng," he stated.
