The upcoming Leteisi on Heels show is a high-end cultural showcase that fuses Botswana’s traditional Leteisi fabric with modern-day glamour. The event will take place on September 20, 2025, at MO’s Open Table in Gaborone.

In an interview with Arts&Culture, the co-creator of Leteisi on Heels, Taolo “Taes” Entaile said the occasion is not just a fashion event, but a lifestyle experience that celebrates national identity through food, music, and breathtaking fashion. Entaile, who is a curator, fashion Icon and founder of Richman explained that the occaassion seeks to honour Leteisi in a fresh, sophisticated way.

"Traditionally, Leteisi has been associated with weddings and ceremonial wear, but we believe it belongs on runways, brunches, lifestyle events, and global fashion platforms. This event is our love letter to Botswana, showing what is possible when culture meets creativity. Guests can expect a red-carpet experience, live music, fine dining inspired by traditional cuisine with a modern twist, and of course, bold Leteisi fashion statements," he said.
