La Fete de la Musique moves to Molapo Piazza

Newly-built Molapo Piazza will be the host venue of this year’s La Fête de la Musique, which will take place this Saturday afternoon.

The international annual event, which is celebrated in more than 120 countries, was initiated in 1982 by French minister Jack Lang. Alliance Francaise has been organising the event in Botswana for the past 12 years.

“As much as we have enjoyed our cooperation with Botswana Craft, we want to make the festival grow bigger,” said Lucie Janyk one of the event coordinators.
