Kumnandi Ekhaya fest goes ahead despite Makhazi's withdrawal

While Makhadzi’s late withdrawal from the music festival dominated the lead-up to the event, Kumnandi Ekhaya went ahead with artists doing their best to ensure that revellers forgot the shenanigans of the South African artist.

Makhadzi was amongst the festival headliners but decided to pull out on the eve of the show, leaving the organisers stranded.

The event, which is a mastermind of South African based Motswana DJ, DJ Ngwazi, was held on Independence Day at Legola Farm in Thamaga.
