Kalayame concert on the festive cards

The all local lineup event will headline masters of the decks such as La Timmy, DJ Sly, DJ Gouveia, Darkboy Masey, and DJ Chabo just to mention but a few.

The event owner, Masego Ntshontsi popularly known as Darkboy Masey told Arts & Culture that the concept of Kalayame comes from a Setswana saying which means motho wa gaetsho/lesika lame. “The whole idea behind the event is to have an all-local lineup because we feel local guys are capable enough to give us the highest quality of entertainment. “We also need to empower our upcoming local artists,” he said.
