As the world is in shock after the death of South African trumpeter and singer Hugh Masekela who died on Tuesday in Johannesburg aged 78, Botswana’s legendary guitarist John Selolwane said he saw a vision of his demise last night.

“I saw his death in a dream and this morning I heard the news of his demise,” he told Mmegi in an interview.

Selolwane worked with Masekela since they met in the 80’s through a mutual friend and Masekela eventually joined Kalahari band that composed of Banjo Mosele and many others.
