Hip-hop meets basketball

With the local basketball scene picking pace with new initiatives such as the FIBA 3x3, a new event dubbed hoops and rhymes has been born.

The event, a brainchild of rapper Zeus and Hoop City, will see the hip-hop culture and sport being celebrated every Friday at Stanbic Bank Piazza.

The event will have hip-hop artists performing and basketball teams consisting of celebrities, corporates, professionals and amateurs challenging each other.
