Gaborone International Music and Culture Week (GIMC), organizer, Thapelo Pabalinga, said the second installment of the weeklong GIMC was successful, as it met their expectations.

Pabalinga said people graced the shows in large numbers, something he applauded the nation for, adding that they should expect an even bigger event next year.

“People came in large numbers to all the shows, starting from the poetry, to the last show, which was jazz, despite the rainy weather, which I thought would affect it,” he said.
