Twenty-three-year-old Tlotlang Melino Rantsimako popularly known as Melino Carl in the creative circles has defied the odds as an androgynous model.

An androgynous model is someone who is able to present both a masculine and feminine look. That is to say, they can rock a manly suit as good as they can a dress.

The mainstream fashion industry is diversifying especially in Botswana as it accommodates and empowers models across almost all spheres. The creative industry is more open and inclusive, which is a great deal, she said.
