A 20-year-old University of Botswana (UB) student Oarabile Tafila is finally living her dream after becoming a published author following her recent book titled, The Twist.

Tafila said it had been one of her life goals to become a published author. In an interview with Arts&Culture this week, Tafila explained that she developed affinity for writing at a young age.

She stated that whenever she struggled to voice out her thoughts, she preferred to put them across in writing. “I was not really inspired by anyone. But I had a passion for writing and I used to write short stories growing up, which I later threw away until I realised that this is something that I cannot run away from and it lives within me as I speak through writing,” the young author said.
