In an interview with Arts & Culture this week, DJ Ngwazi said he will drop the new album on January 22.

He also said he will drop the second single before the album release date. “I want to enter the South African Music Awards (SAMA) this year no wonder I needed this album,” he said. Detailing how Uthando came about, he revealed that as they played various beats in the studio, Nokwazi couldn’t relate to the song at first but they then had to translate the lyrics for everything to work out.
