DJ Fauz to feature at Motswako Fest

Urban music disc jockey Fauz Elkindy well-known as DJ Fauz made it to the list that will feature first annual Motswako Festival that will be hosted in Mafikeng on May 30.

The lineup of the event has heavy weights such as Khuli Chana, Tuks, Tira Towdeemac and Speedstar. DJ Fauz, who could not hide his excitement for the upcoming performance at Mmabatho Stadium, told Showbiz that he is already prepared for his performance that will include audiovisual mixes. The DJ who was booked to perform at the event after impressing organisers stated that since it is a Motswako gig he will not revert from his urban flavoured mixes that comprise of RnB, hip hop and Ragga. However, he stated that he will stage something different and new on his set during the Motswako Fest.

The Motswako Pre-launch party was hosted in Gaborone last weekend.  It featured former Generations actor Thato Molamu well known as Nicholas, Stoan, DJ Guru and Mo Flava. The DJ who recently started doing live audiovisual mixes during live shows will debut the new craft in a foreign land, he confirmed that he is the only DJ on the lineup that has such expertise. He is one of the only two local DJs that have been booked to perform at the event.  The second being DJ Khenzo.

After his performance in Mafikeng, the day after, he is scheduled to perform in Johannesburg at the Koolin In The City event alongside other South African artists.


DJ Fauz who recently released a new single Baddies, which features Ryan Blaze and Veezo stated that he will be hosting the first ever All Suited Up event next month at President Hotel. “The event incorporates the inclusion of Gaborone’s premiere entertainment Muso’s under one roof to celebrate fashion, style and music in one night,” he said. He will headline the event alongside DJ Scratch, Unanimous, Izzy and TV personality Brandon boss.

How can this be achieved when there already is little care about the working conditions of those within the private sector employ?For a long time, private sector employees have been neglected by their employers, not because they cannot do better to care for them, but because they take advantage of government's laxity when it comes to protecting and advocating for public sector employees, giving the cue to employers within the private sector...
