Triccs
With the past few years marking growth of comedy on the local scene, it was no surprise to see the comedians go all out despite the presence of their foreign counterparts. Triccs also known as ‘Lepantsola ka di Jokes’ was the first to impress on stage with his blistering standup routine. Dressed like the lepantsula, Triccs started making jokes about how life in the township (kasi) is different from the flashy life in the suburbs.
“In kasi there is no birthday, you just grow up,” he said. He joked about how in kasi people do not save money, but rather spend it recklessly.
