Despite the freezing cold weather, a number of Batswana flocked Chokoma's Toro Music Festival on Saturday at Royal Aria Stadium.

The highly anticipated event boasted a line-up of 100% local talents from different music genres. The highlight of the event was Chokoma himself as he was on fire and treated his loyal fans with his numerous songs as they danced off the cold. Even though he performed early in the morning, No one wanted to leave the event before seeing the man of the moment doing his magic. As it is a norm, he fired up the stadium with his energetic performance alongside his dancers who also matched his energy. For a first time event, the festival was a success as it attracted a number of fans including local celebrities who found it fit to support the young man.

He indeed was a testimony that as long as individuals believe in themselves and their dreams ,'Toro' as the festival was dubbed attests, they could achieve anything they put their mind to with or without sponsors. In the line-up was beautiful performances from local artists both established and upcoming. They included the likes of Charma Gal who wholeheartedly displayed a long and beautiful performance alongside her dancers. She sang most of her songs engaging the audience and getting them dance away the cold night. She indeed proved why she is called Kgosi Ya Mosadi. ATI also treated the audience to a short but brilliant performance. The people's favourite star, Han C, also treated the audience to a beautiful performance where later Motlha after a long time off the radar showed the audience that he still has the vibe. The local dance crew, The Choreographers, were on fire with their excellent dance moves. Their energies could be felt throughout the Grand Aria Stadium. Other local big names that performed at the event include the likes of Lioness Ratang, Juu Matere, Kabelo Tiro and Baxon.
