Chinese cultural festival celebrates Botswana-China friendship

The two-day festival brought together families, diplomats, community leaders and cultural enthusiasts to celebrate the enduring relationship between Botswana and China. Minister of International Relations, Dr Phenyo Butale, praised the organisers for creating a platform that strengthens cultural understanding and people-to-people ties between the two nations.

He noted that one of the most inspiring moments was watching Botswana children perform Chinese songs, dances and martial arts, describing them as young ambassadors of friendship.
