Charma Gal, Zeus, Scar welcome Amos in style

Local musicians Charma Gal, Zeus, Scar and T-Izzy performed at Nijel Amos ’ s welcome ceremony held at the National Stadium on Tuesday.

Even though there was poor attendance from Batswana, all the artists delivered their best to welcome the athlete who did extremely well in the Diamond League.  The first act of the day came from the already popular Charma Gal and before she entered the stage the crowd was already calling for the performance of her hit song Sekuta.

Performing in front of President Ian Khama and other dignitaries, the songbird did not disappoint, and rushed to the stage to perform the popular song.

After Sekuta, Charma Gal turned to the President to say, “Tautona o mphe sekuta, same se senyegile (President give me a motorbike, mine is damaged)”. Next up was a performance of T-Izzy’s song entitled Nijel Amos dedicated to the man of the moment.  The song features motswako rappers Zeus and Scar and they were also present to perform the song in front of the celebrated athlete.

Performing the song together for the first time in front of Amos, all the musicians did their best to make their act a memorable one.
