Big music festivals are no short of scandals aren’t they? As a result, on Sunday the world of social media woke up to the news that talented local songstress, Charma Gal had a clash with a young popular lawyer Thabo Kedikilwe at Makhadzi’s One Woman Show held at Royal Aria Stadium on Saturday.

A video circulated on Facebook showing Kedikilwe confronting the Sekuta hitmaker. Kedikilwe is heard uttering some sort of threats and using his position to get his way over Charma Gal. “Do you think Uyapo doesn’t tell me your stuff,” said the young lawyer.

The video was shot in the dark by Charma Gal herself and only her face and abdomen could be seen.

Charma Gal was performing on the night. Kedikilwe is an employee at Ndadi Law Firm but he also doubles as a popular figure on social media.

Sthabura as his followers call him loves the showbiz and he is always seen at various entertainment events around town.

But business finally clashed with pleasure as the young lawyer lost himself around the former member of Culture Spears. Kedikilwe has since apologised and admitted to the error of his ways.

“I apologize wholeheartedly to Charma Gal and her fans for my unbecoming conduct yesterday. May you please forgive me, Charma. I will learn from my mistakes. I apologise to my boss for disappointing him. I really let him down. I also apologize to Charma. I'm ready to do everything to make up for my mistakes.

What I promise is that it'll never ever happen again. Never,” Kedikilwe posted on Facebook.

In terms of what might happen to Kedikilwe after this debacle will solely depend on his boss, Uyapo Ndadi.

Ndadi Law Firm was quick to release a statement on Sunday. “Ndadi Law Firm management has noted a video circulating on various social media platforms involving an exchange between our client and a staff member concerning client’s issues at a social gathering. While it is common cause that lawyers discuss cases of clients between themselves (which is not breach of confidentiality) to come up with the best legal solutions, it is however unfortunate that such a privilege was seemingly used for matters not connected with legal advice or legal representation in public,” read a statement from the law firm.

Ndadi added that as management they are promptly taking all the necessary steps to avoid similar occurrences taking place again.

“Our Ndadi has personally reached out to the client and extended the law firm’s apology,”said the law firm. Speaking of clients, Charma Gal had posted earlier indicating that Kedikilwe’s behavior was triggered by the latter’s rejected love proposal. She said Kedikilwe retaliated by threatening to spill over her secrets. The Mosepele wa lerato hitmaker later deleted the posts. Kedikilwe’s earlier posts have been deleted as well.
