Bobonong residents brace for Baharena

The last Monday of 2018 will turn into a family fun day at Bobonong next to Motloutse Bridge. Baharena Social Event brings the first annual picnic and chill session that will bring Bobonong residents and surrounding areas together.

The mandate of the event is to give back to the community while having fun.  The event will see residents being sold some stalls while the lineup for the DJs on the day will be 100% local.

The organisers, Thabang Mangolo, Mompati Masilo, Richard Mompoloki and Tshwarelo Mothoka, will also take a tour donating sanitary towels to Matshekge Hill Senior School and three junior schools in Bobonong after the event as a way of returning the favour to the community. The event covers activities for all ages, which include a kids’ corner, jumping castle, face painting, free photoshoot, chill music, meat tasting, Tswana cuisine, beach volleyball, camp chair affair, fireworks, cocktails and many more.
