On Saturday, local fine artist, Kenneth Bale showcased his new paintings at his solo exhibition dubbed, True2Myself hosted in Tlokweng. The paintings stole the audiences’ hearts with their beauty and colours.

At the exhibition, one could see that Bale’s art skills continue to improve on daily basis. His paintings portrayed both happy and sad feelings. Each painting’s colour and drawing gave the audiences different emotions. Even though his event started late, it attracted a number of art enthusiasts. The audiences included family, friends and his loyal fans.

Just like many art lovers, many of the young people who took part at the exhibition also revealed their artistic sides through their fashion sense that made a statement. Their fashion sense and hairstyles were unique. Bale explained that he expresses himself and explores the beauty of vulnerability through his artworks. He said he used vivid colors and heavy layering textures, which speak to the complex nature of human existence and the many trials he encountered.
