Local fine artist, Kenneth Bale will host his very first exhibition dubbed State Of Emergency (SoE) at Gaborone Club in Gaborone from November 6-7, 2021.

In an interview with the young artist, he said the event was basically an opportunity to showcase his artworks since he started painting professionally during the first national lockdown. He explained that somehow the pandemic got the best out of him and turned out to be a blessing in disguise for him. Bale said there is going to be awareness paintings dedicated to both Gender Based Violence (GBV) and COVID-19. “A picture can say a thousands words. It is a solo exhibition theme, Destined To Be Great because I believe art is my destiny. I believe that I am the chosen one.

Just 13 months in the game and I have done well. The event is about promoting, educating and rising awareness about topics affecting us as a nation, like poaching, COVID-19 and GBV and humanity struggles we face as Batswana.
