Artists ditch Ga bo Rangolo music concert

The first annual Ga bo Rangolo music concert has already started attracting a lot of controversy after some local artists in the line-up distanced themselves from the show.

The show will be held at Tapela farms in Tonota on December 26. The organisers of the show have been accused of using big names to push tickets sales. Zeus, Ricky Lamar and Franix are some of the artists who are reported to have complained about the existence of their names in the line-up without their consent.

Local professional rapper, Zeus, on Sunday went on Twitter to disassociate himself from the annual show. “Please note that Zeus is not booked for any event in Botswana on the 26th of December, any advertising..#CantTellMeNoth @ZeusGC,” read the Twitter statement.
