The organisation, Music to Life was born from the passion to use music to make a positive change in the lives of Batswana in a number of ways. Amongst other things, the organisation scouts and recruits talent nationwide for the purpose of nurturing and developing it. They also facilitate crowd funding for local music artists and relevant community projects.
Their earlier projects date far back to 2007, when they held a small-scale talent show but have now decided to do things a bit differently from usual norm. The event organiser, who is also a renowned gospel artist, Frank Lyn told Arts & Culture of their desire to grow, hence introducing a large-scale event in the form of ‘Acafest’.
