One member of the group, Kagiso Magano said “Although our songs speak mostly to the youth of today, everybody can learn from the songs as they address issues that affect humanity like dangers of excessive alcohol intake leading to the HIV spread and road accidents.”
He explained that choosing gospel as a music career was driven by the fact that they wanted to show the world that gospel is not only music for elders as the youth can also sing it well.
When claims of such gravity are made, especially by a sitting Assistant Minister they cannot be brushed aside, delayed, or treated as routine political noise. Even the Ombudsman has confirmed receipt of a report from a political party and a review of these complaints is now underway. That is a necessary first step. But it is only the beginning.
