It was a night of dance and musical performances when many gathered at Maitisong Theatre last Friday to witness the ninth President’s Concert.

The concert had a rich lineup of veterans and new school entertainers such as Socca Moruakgomo, Lizibo, Urban Empire, Mike and Mis T.

Moratiwa: An African Tragedy musical directed by veteran jazz maestro, Moruakgomo opened the concert. It was a strictly musical act without dialogue, which saw Moruakgomo, his band and cast conveying a message that told of the ritualistic murder of children in Botswana.
