Political reporter Ephraim Keoreng looks back on 2010 and sees a bountiful year whose political landscape was full of tension, high drama, comedy, joy and anger.

It was an action filled year in which rival politicians circled each other, dancing two boxers in a ring while the nation found itself playing audience to an eventful political face-off.

There was the flip-flop Phil and other flip floppers. Just when we were getting used to the idea that it is only opposition parties that are wont to give birth to political babies, the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) pulled a surprise on the nation and gave birth to its first-born, the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD).
