Of Bots, Zim and uncalled for diplomatic tiffs

The recent diplomatic standoff between Botswana and Zimbabwe over the detention of three Batswana rangers who were caught after allegedly trespassing into Zimbabwe, while armed, greatly strained relations between the two countries.

Many in Botswana, a country that has not been to war in recent memory, feared for the worst as it became apparent that there was a possibility of war between the two neighbouring states.
