Moeng College Back Then!

In January 1984, I went to Moeng College together with 15 other students from Maunatlala Primary School, with the rest going to Maunatlala Community Junior Secondary School.

Some of them joined us later at Moeng College for Form Four. Going to Moeng was both scary and exciting; scary because of stories of harsh treatment that Form Ones were subjected to by bullies, and exciting because we were going to a prestigious school of our times. On a personal note, it was to be a reunion with my elder brothers, who were already schooling at Moeng, Orapeleng in Form Five and Boipuso (deceased) in Form Two.

They had inducted me and prepared me on how to conduct myself as a "Form One", and that "treatment" was inevitable to all Form Ones, even if one had older siblings!
