CAF must be real

A day before the Africa Nations Cup final took place in Angola the football continental body, CAF, took a decision to ban Togo from participating in the next two cup of nations finals.

This decision had the effect of taking away the hype and glamour of the final of the continent's biggest football show. Instead of focusing on the final game attention was deflected to the Togolese ban.

This is not what the sponsor wants after spending money on the tournament-this was a bad counter attraction and CAF should have known better. The final game was played under an air of controversy and sponsors could claim that they did not get the full mileage that they deserved.
