Botswana set to celebrate 56 years

In preparation for the country's 56th Independence celebrations, the Ministry of Youth, Gender, Sports and Culture has announced its official planned activities.

According to a statement released this afternoon, this year's Independence Day celebrations will be commemorated under the theme 'Reviving hope: COVID-19 and beyond'.

Planned activities will start with a church service at the Limkokwing University Hall on Sunday.
