Wilderness tames recession to make P115m before tax

Wilderness Holdings has posted a profit of P48 million in its maiden results as a listed company for the year ending 28 February 2010.

The tourism concern recently made a dual listing on the Botswana Stock Exchange and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange's Africa Board.

Its chief executive, Andy Payne, says as a result of the global economic downturn, it has been a challenging year for the tourism industry worldwide. He outlines these details in a statement.
