PPADB probes fraudulent submission of documents

Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) has 15 pending cases relating to fraudulent submission of documents as well as violation of various provisions of the Code of conduct of contractors.

Speaking during the annual media capacity building workshop this week, PPADB senior legal officer Keneilwe Modise said that from the 15 cases, about eight matters were in relation to violation of provisions of the Code of Conduct of Contractor and other legislations as well as seven matters relating to fraudulent documents during contractor registration. 

“According to our 2017/2018 statistics, we have delisted one company, suspended three, written warning to one and not upheld about three complaints,” she said.
