Pick n Pay Botswana on Thursday officially reopened Riverwalk store following its first major refurbishment in 24 years.

In a statement, officials said the investment has transformed the store into one of the country's most modern supermarkets, while creating 10 new permanent jobs and demonstrating the retail chain’ continued confidence in Botswana.

“The store has been upgraded to Pick n Pay's latest specifications with a state-of-the-art hot foods and fast-food department, brand new bakery and butchery, expanded fresh produce and convenience meals, and more than 2,000 new products,” officials said. “Customers will also find significantly expanded ranges in edible grocery, Asian and international foods, baby products, toiletries, wines, pet care and the affordable Pick n Pay DAY range,” they added.
