Peermont reopens casinos after takeover

FRANCISTOWN: The Peermont Group has bought and refurbished two casinos, one in Francistown and another in Selebi-Phikwe.

A press release from the hospitality group stated that the casinos opened for business on December 2, 2007. The Regional Chief Operating Officer of Peermont (Botswana), Bruce Page-Wood, said in the statement that both casinos have been renamed after buying them from Admiral Casinos last July.

The Francistown casino has been renamed Sedibeng Casino, while the one in Selebi-Phikwe has been renamed Syringa Casino.
