Western Bypass in Gaborone, which is notorious for serious road traffic congestion, has been identified by the Ministry of Transport and Communications as one of the spots to receive millions of pula for junction upgrades.

This include the design, build and transfer of three grade separated interchanges at the junctions of Western Bypass with Lobatse Road, Willie Seboni Road and Kudumatse Drive for an estimated contract period of 18 months.
