Hardly a month since their CEO announced he was going back home to France, Orange Botswana yesterday announced that high riding former Central African Republic and Benin Orange CEO Dr Patrick Benon will take over as the new CEO from December 1.

Dr Benon becomes the third new CEO at Orange Botswana in hardly two years since  Cameroonian Elizabeth Medou-Badang was replaced by Phillipe Baudin in January this year.

All the three have sat on the coveted seat thanks to glamorous CV’s; the  immediate outgoing Baudin has been in the industry for more than 30 years and has international exposure in various telecommunications, network and business environments in Europe, Japan, the Middle East and North- America.
