New Orange CEO�s growth blueprint

Boasting an impressive CV and having led Orange Central African Republic for three years and Benin Telecom for four years, the new chief executive officer (CEO) of Orange Botswana, Dr Patrick Benon hopes to steer the mobile giant to greater heights. In an interview with BusinessWeek correspondent ISAAC PINIELO, Benon talks about his achievements and his views of the local telecommunications industry’s next area of focus, which is data and internet services

BusinessWeek: Can you give us a brief introduction of yourself?

Benon: I was born in Benin. Although I now reside in in Botswana, I have dual citizenship of France and Benin.
