On top of his agenda is the transformation of Selebi Phikwe into a vibrant city by developing the tourism and hospitality as well as the horticulture industries in the SPEDU region, which covers Selebi Phikwe, Bobirwa, Tswapong North and Mmadinare.
Speaking to BusinessWeek on Tuesday, Mokubung revealed that the importance of attracting investment into the SPEDU region as well as developing the manufacturing industries to create employment and import-substituting products. “I will also focus on the creation of exports where possible to improve Gross National Product (GNP) for the country,” he stated.
The BDP as a party known to have ample resources has always held its primaries well in time, but this time around that was not the case. The first leg of the primaries was held last weekend, with the final leg being billed for the coming weekend. This time around, the BDP failed to shine in its primary elections.
