Machailo-Ellis leaves Business Botswana

The chief executive officer of Business Botswana, Maria Machailo-Ellis is leaving the organisation to take up a position at the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in the Bureau of Employers’ Activities.

The Bureau for Employers’ Activities in Geneva, Switzerland is an integral member of the ILO Decent Work Technical Support Team that provides technical support and guidance to a particular region.

A press statement from Business Botswana stated that Machailo-Ellis will be in charge of the employers activities in 10 countries in Southern Africa among them Botswana, South Africa and Rwanda. She will be residing in South Africa.
