Inflation Falls To 2.9%

The annual inflation rate in November 2017 was 2.9%, registering a drop of 0.1 of a percentage point on the October 2017 rate of three percent.

The inflation rates for regions between October and November 2017 indicated that rural villages’ inflation decreased to three percent from at 3.3%, cities and towns went up to 3.1% from three percent and urban villages’ dropped to 2.6% from 2.7% between the two months.

The November national Consumer Price Index moved from 103.2 in October 2017 to 103.4 in November 2017, an increase of 0.2%.
