First National Bank of Botswana unveiled its new smartphone banking application that runs on Apple, Blackberry 10 and Android operating systems on Friday.

At the launch, officials explained that the smartphone app allows customers to have direct and easy access to accounts, make payments, transfer funds, view balances and detailed transactional history.

The application also has value-added services such as the ability to locate FNB ATMs and branches, buy prepaid airtime, make free calls and messages to other App users. The App also includes the popular eWallet service and new features will be added in the future.
